so, i'm a single mom (yes, divorced!) in my thirties trying to solve some puzzles in my life. Indian women.........hmmm...........and teh stigma they hold in the society even today, of being divorced is amazing. I am looking for a match for myself and apparently all the sites dedicated to matrimony have millions of male members who call themselves" liberal , non judgmental, laid back, easy going..................blah blah blah , but they look DOWN upon divorced women and especially if u have a child...............jeez..........forget about saying anything positive about urself because..........................why the hell are u divorced then???!!!

i'm very succesful and a confident woman who values honesty and respect for herself and others. But having a hard time finding people i can connect with........let alone a match! If i love myself.............i'm selfish. if i dont participate in goissiping...........i'm too private and introvert...........if i laugh too much............OOOH MY GOSH WHAT AN AURAT!!!! Now, it might sound like i'm bitching which by the way i am and i'm not looking for anything to come out of this but just wanted to share my thoughts on this website.

I am very thankful for where i am in my life today............and probably getting divorced was the best decision ever!!! for all you women who dont have the courage to do it.................it sucks for sometime but sooooooooo worth it!! especially the abusive relationships. An indian girl is brought to US as"their own daughter" and abused under that name for the rest of her life. Now, there are some "trophy wife" kind of women who dont care. which is fine...........hats off to them. but my concern is those women who have dreams of thier own, who are wonderful loving beings but are denied the power to love themselves and express themselves. Now, no one is stopping us but their are rules that WE must follow or else we are BAD DAUGHTERS OR DAUGHTER IN LAWS. cant blame in laws since our own parents put us down stating............now u are theirs AS THOUGH WE ARE THINGS!!! and not human..............sometimes we ar eeven told..........now that u are married , only your dead body shall leave your in laws house...................oh my goodness!! NO wonder BOLLYWOOD IS becoming popular!!!
